Zebra / Day & Night Blinds in Bangalore
Alternating sheer and opaque stripes for infinite, precise light control — the modern choice for living rooms and offices.
Infinite Light Control in One Blind
Zebra blinds — also known as day and night blinds or vision blinds — are one of the most innovative window treatments available. Two layers of alternating sheer and opaque horizontal stripes can be aligned to any position, giving you complete control over light and privacy.
Align the sheer stripes for an open, light-filled room with an outside view. Align the opaque stripes for privacy and light reduction. Or position them anywhere in between for the perfect balance — something no other blind type can achieve.
The distinctive striped pattern also makes zebra blinds a design statement in their own right — popular in contemporary living rooms, bedrooms, and modern offices across Bangalore.

Key Benefits

Privacy Without Darkness
Align the opaque stripes at eye level for privacy while keeping the sheer stripes above and below open for natural light — unique to zebra blinds.

Zebra Blinds FAQs
Zebra blinds (also called day and night blinds or vision blinds) consist of alternating horizontal bands of sheer and opaque fabric. By rolling the fabric, you can align the sheer bands (for light and view) or the opaque bands (for privacy and light blocking) — or any combination in between.
Roller blinds use a single layer of fabric that either blocks or transmits light uniformly. Zebra blinds use two layers of alternating sheer and opaque stripes, giving you much more nuanced light control — you can have privacy at eye level while still letting light in above and below.
Zebra blinds can work in bedrooms when the opaque stripes are fully aligned (all opaque). However, they do not achieve the same blackout level as dedicated blackout roller blinds. For complete darkness in bedrooms, we recommend blackout roller blinds or pairing zebra blinds with a blackout lining.
We offer zebra blinds in a wide range of solid colours, textured fabrics, and subtle patterns. Stripe widths typically range from 50mm to 100mm. Our design team will help you choose the right combination for your interior during the free home visit.
Yes. Motorised zebra blinds are available and are particularly popular for large windows and living rooms. They can be controlled via remote, smartphone app, or integrated with Alexa and Google Home smart home systems.
Dust zebra blinds regularly with a soft cloth or duster. For spot cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid soaking the fabric. The dual-layer construction means you should clean both layers gently to maintain the crisp stripe appearance.
